Aloo Tikki Burger

Ingredients

Potatoes – 4, boiled, peeled

Carrot- 1, finely chopped

Onion – 2 finely chopped

Peas – ½ cup, boiled

Turmeric powder – a pinch

Chilli powder – 1 tsp

Corainder powder – 1 tsp

Chaat masala – 2 tsp

Ginger / Garlic – ½ tsp, minced

Oil / Butter – 2 tbsp

Salt – to taste

Tomto puree – 1 tbsp

Corn flour – 4 tbsp

Egg -1

Bread crumb – for coating

Buns

Tomato ketchup

Method

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions, ginger/garlic and saute until translucent.

Add carrots, peas to the mixture. Saute for 3 minutes adding enough salt.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, chaat masala. Mix well for a minute and add tomato puree. Stir it well and let the mixture cool down.

Mashed the potatoes in a large bowl and add the mixture, corn flour to it. Mix it well.

Make it into patties. Shape into round flat patties.

Beat the egg and dip each patty in egg white and roll with bread crumbs.

Heat butter in pan and fry patties to golden brown and crispy.

Assemble the burger toppings in any order of choice. Keep one half of the bun first, spread the tomato ketchup, then patty, round sliced onion, capsicum, tomato and other half of the bun.
